Fabini photographs polo at its core: the bond between horse and rider and the universes of breeders, grooms, and players, where knowledge is passed through practice. Rather than documenting competition, the photographs attend to the subtleties of care, training, and movement, revealing the ways skill, experience, and expertise are embodied over time. Polo emerges not as an event, but as a living system, a network of gestures, routines, and forms of proximity through which understanding is transmitted.
