Portraits

The land has always been my compass. It shapes us, molds us, and leaves its mark on who we are. Yet, as much as I feel the pull of the landscapes I photograph, I know identity cannot be entirely defined by geography. We are more than the places we come from. We carry the imprint of the land within us, yes, but we also transcend it. My work lives in this contradiction—between being shaped by the land and the constant act of redefining ourselves beyond it. _ Fabini
